A letter of appreciation from a Liberian Pastor

May 28, 2004

Dear Mr. Harry:

I am pleased to acknowledge receipt of the money, as promised in an e-mail sent to me by your Board President, Mrs. Anna Z. Dobrowolska, for the purchase of school materials and few Bibles for the Church members.

The entire membership of this denomination of twenty-four churches join me to express our thanks and appreciation to your organization for this donation. It comes at a time when I have just visited eight churches in Bong and Nimba Counties when a request was made by the Pastors of these two counties. I did purchase seven pieces of Good News Bible, and it was a blessing for our people. God bless you. Still, some of the Pastors and Assistants don’t have good Bibles to proclaim the Gospel, so we pray that more donations will come from your foundation.

The church requests your kind consideration in working with us in the areas of Nation-wide Bible training and evangelism since it is one of your goals, as most of our Pastors are rural people who have never gone through formal Bible training. We are planning a nation-wide evangelism crusade for November this year before our General Assembly, which will be held December 5-12, 2004, in Grand Kru County.

Finally, I want you clarify to me if the second amount is to go towards school materials for the whole school, or for the two scholarship students. I pray that you consider a few more students in Shine Christian Academy for your scholarship. There are many children whose parents cannot afford.

It is interesting to inform you that your organization is the first to donate to our church since it was established. Your name will be written down in the history of our church as the first contributor to the work of God. May God bless you to continue your good work. God will reward you bountifully.

Kind regards.

Yours-in-Christ,
Rev. Wesseh Blamoh
