HLF Donates School Materials to Liberian Children

In its effort to continue assisting Liberian school children, Help Liberia Foundation has distributed educational materials to some school children in the city of Buchanan.

The school materials, which included copybooks, pencils and other items, were given to the children of the Ministerial Primary School in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, a distance of about 150km from Monrovia.

“We are happy about the gifts from Help Liberia. We are happy because we didn’t pay any money for it.” Said a little girl from the fourth class of the primary division.

“I thank Help Liberia for helping me and my sister. We are happy.” Remarked a five-year-old boy from the kindergarten class.

At the end of the distribution, the Principal of the school, Mr. Andrew Garsuah, expressed gratitude to HLF on behalf of the staff and the students of the school. “I hope and pray that Help Liberia will be able to do more than it is doing now. And I am confident the Lord will bless all that Help Liberia has planned to do.” He averred.

The school supplies were taken to Buchanan and distributed by the staff of the Liberian branch of Help Liberia Foundation.

The Ministerial Primary School is one of the many schools that Help Liberia Foundation is helping. The Executive Director of HLF visited the school during his trip to Liberia last summer, at which time an appeal was made to HLF for assistance.
