Changes In Help Liberia Foundation

The foundation has carried out some changes in its administrative structure. Legal documents relating to the changes, which were made a few days ago, have already been submitted to the Polish court responsible for such arrangements.
In view of the changes, Ms. Elizabeth Kocel and Ms. Joanna Oczkowicz come onto the Board of Directors, with Ms. Kocel serving as the new President, replacing Ms. Anna Dobrowolska. Due to some busy engagement, Mr. Wegrzyn and Ms. Kogut no longer serve on the Board.
Ms. Dobrowolska, a co-founder of the foundation, now serves on the Polish Management Team with Mr. Paul Yeenie Harry and Ms. Justyna Maciuszek. Mr. Harry still serves as the foundation’s Executive Director. Ms. Anna Kopacz no longer serves on the Management Team, but she’s actively involved in programs connected with the kids and the school in Liberia.
In a related development, because of financial and other constraints, the foundation has suspended maintaining an office and working staff in Liberian. For now, the foundation’s resources will mainly, if not only, be directed towards its school in Buchanan, until at such a time when the foundation is financially able to implement its other problems. The school is the focus for now.
