Every year, using a yearly tax form, Polish workers have the opportunity and choice to donate one-percent of their taxes to a charity organization, which our organization once again benefited from this year.
The donation is made between January and April; however, it takes some time for organizations to get the funds in their bank accounts. For an organization to qualify for the one-percent donation, the it must be certified as an OPB (Organization of Public Benefit), which our foundation is. You can find us here.
During the donation period of this year, we sent posters around, talked with people, etc., appealing to them to donate one-percent of their taxes towards the education program of our foundation. Many people willingly donated to the foundation. In total we collected 1,593.20 PLN.
We wish to thank all of you who voluntarily donated one-percent of your taxes to our foundation. We also thank those of you who helped to dispatched posters and to inform others about the one-percent donation. We appreciate your assistance and involvement very much. We thank all of you from the depth of our hearts.
The amount has been deposited into a special bank account established for the construction of a school building for the children. All those willing to help with the school construction project may send their assistance to the bank account. The full information is as follows:
