Under its Charity Package Program, Help Liberia Foundation bought two bales of used clothes as Christmas gift and distributed them among Liberian children who come from poor background.

The clothes, which cost thousands of Liberian dollars, were distributed among scores of children of the city of Buchanan, especially those attending Help Liberia Foundation Community School. The bales of clothes were opened and distributed in full view of teachers, parents, residents, students, etc.

One parent, a lady, remarked, “Your Foundation’s action shows that it is really a Christian organization whose aim is to share with those who don’t have, especially doing the Christmas season, when most people are thinking about gift of the Son of God. Thanks for your great help to our children and us.”

Another parent added, “What your organization has done is something that the children and we the parents will not easily forget about. It came as a surprise, but it came at the right time. See how happy all the children are. May God bless you and bless what you are doing.”

The clothes were transported to Buchanan and distributed by two of the Foundation’s representatives in Monrovia, Mr. Henry Kulee, Coordinator; and Mr. Moses Zangar, Assistant Coordinator. The distribution was done on the 21st of December 2005.

We thank the individuals and institutions that helped us to make the children happy during the most important holiday, not only in Liberia, but also in the whole world.
Note: Besides the clothes given to the children, educational materials were presented to the authority of the Help Liberia Foundation Community School.
If you want to be part of the exercise to help African children of poor background, especially in helping to give them education, please contact the Foundation.
