Yes, you can be sure that the child you sponsor is in school because you and the child will exchange letters and photos, and the child's progress reports will be sent to you periodically.

Yes! You can communicate with the child you sponsor through the foundation.

You may get your communications to us through any of the following means: regular post, email or fax.

You will communicate with the child through the foundation. If you have any information (letters, photos, postcards, etc.)that you want to send to the child, you will send it to the foundation and the foundation will send it to Liberia and the school will give it to the child and its parents.

You may communicate with the child as often as you wish. Many sponsors do it twice a year, while some do it once a year.

The foundation will send you information from the child at least twice every year -- at the beginning of the school year and at the end of the end of year. However, other information may be sent in-between, depending on the situation.

Any person who is legally considered an adult can sponsor a child. A family can sponsor a child. An institution can also sponsor a child. A class -- a group of pupils -- can also sponsor a child with the guidance of a teacher.
